After working closely with families over the past few weeks and offering this support on a more informal basis, I’ve had the opportunity to see just how valuable it can be for parents at the early stages of their journey.
The feedback has been incredibly positive, with many parents sharing how much more confident and reassured they felt after gaining clarity on their child’s evidence and next steps.
Because of this, I’ve decided to introduce a new service:

This service is designed for parents who are preparing to apply for DLA or an EHCP, but would benefit from a clear, professional overview of their documents before moving forward.
It offers a calm, supportive space to understand what is strong, what may be missing, and how to approach the process with confidence.

Steady Steps provides practical, personalised SEND and disability support for families and individuals navigating complex systems — including education, healthcare, and benefit processes.
Founded by Gabriela Georgescu, a mother of four, including children with additional needs, Steady Steps was built from both professional experience and lived understanding.
